Summary0004042: CTT requires writeable points
Description

The CTT requires writeable point for many tests, even test that could be easily accomplish with readonly points that changes at a known frequency. The CTT should be updated to utilize periodically changing readonly points for all test cases that are not explicitly testing writes operations.

What if there are no points that changes at a known frequency? Some points may require some kind of user interaction to be changed (if they can be changed at all). Could this be accounted for in the test? Just adding a new CTT requirement that there need to be points that changes periodically doesn't necessarily solve the problem.

For Automated testing one of two option is required (manual test results if neither option is available) - the ability to write to nodes to trigger changes (i.e. write a value so it can be read or subscribed to or having a simulator with a know frequency for updates

Workaround has been implemented. Scripts which are requiring writable nodes are now being skipped if the configured ones are not writable.
